Our Story

After the sudden death of her husband, David, Tiffany became determined to keep her four young sons motivated, engaged and happy. She didn’t want the loss of their father to overwhelm their lives with sadness or depression and hinder their abilities to thrive and live fulfilled lives. Investing in the mental health and personal growth and development of her sons — Judah, Caleb, Luke and Seth — became paramount. Before the tragedy, the Sandridges were on a family mission to build a legacy and created the hashtag #buildingtheSanCastle. They were building figuratively and literally as they were in the middle of completing their first full property rehab at the time of David’s death. Tiffany reminds herself and her boys daily that although David is no longer with them, they have to keep BUILDING and that no matter what, they can “NEVER STOP BUILDING.” This message is especially important because David suffered from mental illness and he unfortunately succumbed to his illness and committed suicide. Now, Tiffany’s number one mission in life is to instill into her boys that they can NEVER GIVE UP! Thus, they will continue to BUILD at all costs and hopefully help and inspire people along the way.

(Facebook post by Tiffany on 7/5/20)

“Hello all! My husband passed Sept. 2019. Last Saturday, 6/27/20, would’ve been our 11th wedding anniversary. Every year on our anniversary we would take a picture in front of the Love Statue in Love Park to recreate one of our favorite wedding pics. I’ve been coping well but obviously last Saturday was a huge trigger. I became overwhelmed with sadness. Also, not going to Love Park just felt so weird. I don’t like to live in sorrow so I decided to dry my tears, take our 4 boys to Love Park, and make some new memories... and I’m so glad I did. They had the best time... and so did I. Our shirts say “Never Stop Building.” I had these made after he died. This message is important because my husband suffered from mental illness and he unfortunately succumbed to his illness and committed suicide. Now, my number one mission in life it to instill into my boys that they can NEVER GIVE UP! This post took me somewhere that I didn’t expect to go. But as the tears flow I hope to encourage someone to keep pushing. Remember, it’s not the end of the world... until it’s the end of the world. Love and light to you all.”
